Popeye’s lasagna

The Nutri Hub - Ta lazania tou Popai

Ingredients (for 6 servings)

  • ½ pack lasagna
  • 700g spinach cleaned and washed
  • 1 onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 500g ricotta cheese
  • 200g parmesan
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the béchamel

  • 100g flour for all uses
  • 100g butter
  • 1 litre of milk
  • Nutmeg
  • Salt
  • Pepper


Put the olive oil, onion and garlic in a pan and fry for a few minutes. Add the spinach and let it wither for about 15 minutes until the liquids are gone. Finally, after turning off the oven, add the ricotta and a little salt and mix very well. In a saucepan, make the béchamel in the usual way and set it aside.
In a casserole, spread a little spinach and 1 teaspoon of béchamel at the bottom. Put a layer of lasagna. Then add spinach, béchamel and parmesan again. Repeat the layers 3 times and cover with the remaining béchamel and parmesan.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 25-30 minutes.
